Das Leben und die Lügen von Albus (The Life and Lies of Albus) – Rita Skeeter

The German edition of The Life and Lies of Albus by Rita Skeeter: the scandalous biography of the most famous headmaster, in the voice of its notorious author.

How much of a famous life can a biography invent? Which secrets would a gossip columnist chase first? And whose side are you on after the last chapter?

About Das Leben und die Lügen von Albus: The Life and Lies of Albus by Rita Skeeter

The Life and Lies of Albus by Rita Skeeter is the scandalous biography that appears late in the story and sets everyone talking. Our fan edition is printed as the book itself, written in the voice of its author: sharp, gossipy and never entirely fair. It follows the life of the most famous headmaster of the magical world, always looking for the secret behind the public story. Reading it is a game in itself — you know the author and her methods, and part of the fun is deciding which pages to believe.

Fully readable — not a blank prop

All 136 pages are printed with original illustrated content — in German, from the first page to the last. No blank or lined journal pages: this is a book to read, not a notebook with a decorated cover.

Das Leben und die Lügen von Albus — the German edition

German edition: the whole book is printed in German.

Reading a favourite world in another language is one of the most enjoyable ways to learn it: the names, spells and recipes you already know become anchors in the new language. This edition is made for German-speaking fans, for families who want a German book on the shelf and for learners who prefer magic to grammar drills.

Rita Skeeter biography for fans of the final book

This biography is the most unusual book in our library: not a textbook, but a piece of the story's world that fans love to own. It is a favourite gift for readers of the final book, a perfect prop for a journalist cosplay with a quick-quotes quill and a conversation piece on any shelf. German and Spanish editions are available too.
