Ancient Studies: Advanced (Part 2), Fully Readable Textbook Replica
A fully readable textbook for the advanced course in ancient studies: Part 2, for students who have finished the basics and want to go further into the past.
What remains of magic that is older than any school? How do scholars read evidence that has almost disappeared? And which questions about the past are still open?
About Ancient Studies, Part 2: the advanced course
Ancient Studies, Part 2 is the advanced course of the elective subject and continues directly from Part 1. It is written for students who already know the foundations and are ready for longer chapters and more demanding material. As in the basic course, the tone is academic and the pages are fully printed and illustrated, so the book can be read as a real course from beginning to end. Together, the two parts form the complete ancient studies programme of our wizarding school library.
Fully readable Ancient Studies textbook replica — not a blank prop
Every page is printed with original illustrated content. No blank or lined journal pages: this is a book to read, not a notebook with a decorated cover.
Advanced ancient studies book for scholarly fantasy readers
Part 2 completes the ancient studies course and joins the third-year shelf in our year sets, next to Advanced Rune Translation. Readers who love scholarly fantasy, slow reading and an old-library atmosphere will enjoy having both parts side by side, and the pair is also available as a set.
Ancient Studies textbook in our wizarding school sets
Buying more than one book? Ancient Studies: Advanced is also part of the Ancient Studies set of 2, the Third Year set of 7 and the complete 21-book library. Sets bring matching A5 hardcovers together in one parcel, cost less than the same books bought one by one and come with a bigger gift: 9 fan art prints from two books, plus 3 fan art wizarding magazines from four books.
How our handmade Ancient Studies textbook is made
Every copy of Ancient Studies: Advanced is printed and bound by hand. The A5 format (5.8 × 8.3 in / 14.8 × 21 cm) sits comfortably in the hand and on a standard bookshelf, the full colour hardcover is sturdy enough for everyday reading, and the thread-sewn binding lets the book open completely flat — on a desk, in a photo or on a display stand. Inside, the pages are printed on coated 115 g/m² paper with a black and white illustrated interior.
